S-Kay was born in the Eastern Cape and later moved to KwaDukuza KZN two years ago. While studying he then met with the peers and they who were in some sort of Hip Hop. He later met Sabelo Dlomo who introduced him to Stano towards the end of 2008.
When he met with Stano he was not your ordinary hip Hop boy and even his peers just didn't have faith in him and even himself didn't believe that he can be anything in the music industry he just wanted to work as a chemical engineer. But Thanks to Stano who looked beyond what every one was seeing in this little hopeless boy. Stano took time to work on him putting him under fire to make something out of him. "I remeber I would give S-Kay 4 lines and he would request a WEEK to go practice... LOL" One of this boy's attributes was being a gangstar... He just wanted to be a gangster. His music was gangster music... But Stano just didn't go down with that kind of life style.
Now S-Kay is bound to be one of THE South African Hip Hop Stars.
He just finished his Debut Album and is soon to be launched... has has rocked the stages time and time again.

My name isSakhekile Ntsunguzi
A.K.A S-Kay. I was born on the 21st of October 1985. I grow up in a
small town called Peddie in EastenCape.
I did my grade 12 in
2006. It was hard back then growing up in rural areas because one hardly realizes
his/her potentials. It’s the place where dreams are shuttered because you have
to look after the livestock and nothing more.
At the age of fourteen I
fell in love with hip-hop music which was quite big thing in high school.
I was introduced to the
likes of B.I.G, 2PAC, EMINEN, Puff Daddy (P.Diddy) to mention but few. Back
then I never thought I could also write and rap, I use to sing along with and
write down the lyrics.
After I completed my
Grade 12 I moved to KwaZulu-NatalNorthCoast
and I made new friends. Now this is where I joined a basket ball team.
One playing basketball I
met a Hip Hop crew, and I realized the opportunity for me to get into it was
right thee in front of me; so I gave it a big shot.
We set up a day to talk
about it, and then we form a group called Hip-Hop Assassins. I was excited to
be the part of that movement.
From there they proposed
that we visit a new local recording studio to find out about recording a track.
This is when I met my only boss Stano
himself.
The group recorded the songs;
it was my very first time behind the Mic. I had to come up with 4lines, I tried
my best but it took me 45 minutes to record that only four lines yep its not a
joke it did happen.
I was fortunate enough to be favored by Stano and realized that
I was capable for more. He told me that he liked my voice then I took it from
there. He suggested that I should record a demo.
But at that moment I
was not yet convinced that this is what I wanna do but together with Sabziro they
made me believe in myself and get down on it because which ever excuse I came
up with why I couldn’t start my own project the just didn’t buy it.
Stano taught me a lot regarding
the music industry. And I really appreciate his patience and time he spent
making what I am today and shaping me for what I will be in the near future.
Now
that I am here there is no looking back forward is where I am going. My dream
is to release at least one hit song that will top the charts world wide every
year.
My
goal is to win a Grammy or at least be nominated for one for the next three consecutive
years.
Long
term goal is to feature well known international artists.
